My academic journey at the University of Memphis, where I majored in Political Science with a minor in Legal Thought, has further solidified my passion for this field.

As the Marketing Coordinator at Thomas Law and Consulting, I develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the firm’s visibility and foster community engagement. My responsibilities include managing social media platforms to create engaging content that resonates with our audience, coordinating impactful events to showcase our expertise, building relationships within the community, and aligning our outreach efforts with the firm’s broader goals. I also capture key moments and craft compelling narratives that highlight our achievements and strengthen our brand identity.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Georgia State University and am currently pursuing an MBA in Digital Marketing, equipping me with the latest insights to thrive in today’s dynamic marketing landscape. In addition to my formal education, I engage with the marketing community as a member of the American Marketing Association. By utilizing data-driven insights and staying current with industry trends, I ensure our marketing initiatives resonate with our target audience and effectively support the firm’s objectives.

FIRM ADMINISTRATOR

As the Firm Administrator at Thomas Law & Consulting, I ensure the seamless operation of our legal practice while serving as the first point of contact for our clients. I greet clients warmly, manage phone calls and emails, and handle client inquiries, reflecting our commitment to exceptional service.

My responsibilities include scheduling appointments, preparing discovery call forms, and managing both attorney and firm admin email accounts. I keep track of client follow-ups and ensure smooth interactions between clients and our legal team.

Currently, I am a senior at Kennesaw State University pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance. This background equips me with skills I plan to leverage to enhance our firm's operational efficiency and contribute to strategic planning initiatives. My goal is to grow within the company, using my academic and practical experiences to drive our success and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Eliana Torres is an experienced intellectual property attorney with a focus on brand protection, copyright, and trademark law, especially as these areas intersect with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. With over eight years of practice, Eliana provides strategic IP portfolio management, enforcement, and litigation guidance to clients across diverse industries, helping them safeguard and grow their innovations and brands in an evolving digital landscape.

A recognized thought leader on AI’s impact on trademark and copyright law, Eliana has authored numerous articles and frequently presents at conferences, educating others on navigating the legal complexities surrounding AI-generated content. 

Eliana’s background includes roles at Nixon Peabody and Invisible Technologies, where she advised on high-stakes IP transactions, complex technology contracts, and cross-border IP protection strategies. Her experience in both private practice and as in-house counsel allows her to bring a balanced, business-oriented approach to her legal work.

Eliana holds an LLM in International Intellectual Property Law and is a licensed attorney in Illinois, Florida, and DC. She is dedicated to empowering clients to protect their creative assets and drive innovation with confidence in a constantly shifting legal landscape.
